Are you looking for pictures from the NKK?
I don't know if there are any online but take a look at the knowledge base. There are some PPTs.
The knowledge base requires a valid login for Lotus Notes.
After exciting four days of planning in the MC Office the new formed National Information Systems Team is ready for take off!
But let's start in the beginning: On Thursday eight crazy IT-lovin' AIESECers gathered in Bonn to do the planning for the next half year of @Germany's IS-work. The old part and the new part of the team fit perfectly together after a special get2know session called "TBdS". TBdS?? Team Building by drinking together ("durch Saufen"). A nice bbq together with the MC was the perfect place for it. On friday and saturday we worked long and hard to define our products, aims and projects for the next mounths. OMG, I better don't look at my calendar anymore. Saturday there was big party time together with the FCT (financial consulting team), the TAXI (team for active eXchange an internationalism) and of course the MC. We rocked the boat race. And we invented a new tradition for our team. (Let's name only a few ingrediants: gathering in a bathroom, drinking, singing....) Unfortunatly after that the alcohol rocked us, so Sunday morning was not that nice.
But now we are ready to take off and rock you like hurricane. Watch out! ;-)
The lessons are going to start in these days, so it's time to work and learn again!
To improve the impact of this I'm cleaning in the moment the folders for uni-stuff on my computer, updating the bookmarks to the pages of the new lessons and unsubscribing from some services (which I haven't used for some months).
The biggest problem is the latter one. Not every online service/web-site has a special unsubscribe or delete-account-button. So I've to write some mails to get me removed from these services.
The application database is now online!
And guess who set it up for the OC... ;-)

Once a year, a fascinating party takes place in the
former capital of Germany, Bonn:
*****************Rhein in Flammen **************
***************Great Fireworks******************
***************on the banks* ********************
***************of the river Rhine***************
At the beginning of May, many people voyage to Bonn
and seek the beautiful Rhine: They can’t wait to enjoy
the Great Fireworks display that lasts late into the
evening. Just imagine: Some 1600 bengalese fires
illuminating the banks of the Rhine. From every corner
of Germany flock some hundreds of thousands of people
for the massive celebrations. At the peak of that
party, an armada of up lightened ships arrive to
signal the beginning of the Great Fireworks. By the
way, the fireworks are considered to be exclusive,
advanced and extravagant. Meanwhile, the audience is
listening to the most spectacular music one can think
of.
Quick Facts:

I think I'll go there!
- the motto of this years NKK (National Kick-Off Conference ("Konferenz" in German)) of AIESEC Germany in Oerlinghausen (near Bielefeld).
I've been there "just" as a party delegate but two times. On Thursday I hit the conference together with the new EB of Berlin's HU-commitee after an exciting trip to Berlin. Especially Leon (LCVP ICX) should be mentioned here. I met him on CEMOS last year, together we enjoyed the hospitality of his grand ma in Croatia and this time he was my host for two days before the conf.
The party of the day had a motto of its own: black and white. Equipped with a white shirt and black-and-white-striped tie the party was rocked. The night in a sleeping bag directly on the ground was not that relaxing so still tiered I found my way to Muenster on Friday's afternoon.
One day later on Saturday I couldn't resist and hit the road again. This time by car I arrived on the site of the conference. A planned presentation about the National Information Systems Team (NIST) - which has been my task - was moved from the evening to the next morning. So I enjoyed the global village to the last. It's always amazing to see how different the regions even in Germany are when it comes to food and drinks. Enhanced by the presence of good Russian wodka the night went its way. This time I slept in the front of "my" car... Unfortunatly I didn't wake up at eight or nine to hold the presentation but on eleven.... Thanks Christian (MCVP) for doing it instead of me!
Right after noon we headed back home. Together with HU-EB-memebers I had a stop at the McDonalds restaurant in Bielefelds central station. Some other AIESECers were there too, so we could rock the place with the famous "this is table number....". :-)
I'm in Berlin again for a few days. I like this city. It's so amazing for me. :-) More to come!
